Jasmine 3% in Jojoba Oil - (Jasminium grandiflorium)
Jasmine is called a "natural perfume" because the oil is not subjected to the heat of distillation. It has a beautiful sweet, exotic and rich floral scent. It is extracted from the very fragrant white flowers of the popular climber. (Beware, synthetic substitutes contain cinnamic aldehyde which may cause loss of skin pigmentation and hives.) Always dilute Jasmine with a carrier oil, as provided here, before external use. Jasmine should not be used during pregnancy.
Aromatherapists recommend it for the treatment of depression, dry or sensitive skin, stress, acne, hair growth and it is also used as an antiseptic and emollient.
Burners and vaporizers In vapour therapy Jasmine oil can be useful to overcome addiction, depression, nervousness, coughs, relaxation and tension.
