Bergamot 100% - (Citrus aurantium var bergamia)

Bergamot Essential Oil is pure natural oil extracted from Citrus aurantium var fruit also known as bergamot orange.

Top Note. 

The scent of the oil is citrus, yet fruity and sweet with a warm spicy floral quality. Bergamot oil is one of the most widely used oils in the perfumery and toiletry industry and forms, together with Neroli and Lavender, the main ingredient for the classical 4711 Eau-de-cologne fragrance and is also used to flavour Earl Grey tea.

Aromatherapist recommend Bergamot as an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic, deodoriser, depression, treats genital, urinary, mouth and throat infections, flu, herpes, shingles and chicken pox; and aids digestion, most skin conditions and eczema, reduce depression, anxiety, intestinal parasites, insomnia or compulsive behaviour cycles (including eating disorders). It balances emotions, instilling composure. Also used for abscesses, acne, anxiety, boils, cold sores, cuts, eczema, infections, insect bites, loss of appetite, oily complexion, psoriasis, thrush, vaginal candida, varicose veins, ulcers.

Burner and Vapourisers: Bergamot oil can be used for depression, feeling fed-up, colds and flu, and PMS.

Bergamot oil can be used in blended massage oil, or diluted in a bath to assist with stress, tension, PMS, skin problems, compulsive eating, postnatal depression, colds and flu, anxiety, depression, feeling fed-up and anorexia nervosa.

Blended in base cream Bergamot oil can be used for wounds and cuts, psoriasis, oily skin, scabies, eczema, acne and cold sores.

Bergamot essential oil blends well with clary sage, frankincense, mandarin, jasmine, black pepper, cypress, geranium, nutmeg, sandalwood, orange, rosemary, vetiver and ylang-ylang Oil.
